Stroke can be life changing. It can happen to anyone of any age and can affect people in many ways.

The volunteer role is to support patients who have previously had a stroke, by organising activities based around a chosen area of interest. This could be organising games, playing board games/card games, crafts, reading, singing, playing music, or simply having a conversation with patients.

Aiming to improve patients' confidence by showing them their is hope in recovery by engaging in activities.

Applicants who are successful at the interview stage of the process, will be required to provide proof of identity as outlined in the application form, along with a successful Disclosure and Barring Service check, Occupational Health check, an acceptable reference and complete mandatory online training modules.
