Stroke Peer Support Volunteer
Having a stroke and being an inpatient in hospital can be a daunting and lonely experience for many people. Peer support volunteers can play an important role to someone who has suffered a stroke and their family. They can offer extra support and companionship whilst being able to provide positive peer role support and strategies to cope with commonly faced challenges, validated by their personal experience of stroke.
